1.Tell us something about your educational and professional background. What inspired you to become a Business Leader or lead a company?

Vineet Trakroo’s journey as a business leader began after spending over 25 years in prominent B2C organizations such as Usha International, Cavinkare, Pidilite, and Beiersdorf as CMO, head of marketing and/or sales. He started his career as a management trainee in Voltas and also worked for the engineering giant ABB in sales.  His educational foundation includes an Electrical Engineering degree from MIT, Manipal and an MBA in Marketing from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.

Having lead a number of multi brand and multi category companies in B2C and B2B sectors and delivered transformational growth. He was well known in the consumer goods industry and had already lead organisations when he decided to move to consulting. There was a need in the market to un lock growth for many organisations with the increased competition from international brands and globalisation. New management techniques, digitisation and data were redefining marketing and sales as well as how companies work and deliver customer satisfaction. We entered the market in 2013 to enable these changes for our clients and make them globally competitive.

As the Founder/CEO, Vineet has transformed loss-making brands, doubled sales within 12 months, and represented international brands like Coty, Honeywell, and Westinghouse for licensing and joint ventures. Over the past decade, Evolution Strategy Advisors has completed more than 100 projects for over 50 clients across sectors, including FMCG, durables, building materials, pharmaceuticals, and B2B. Their differentiated approach and focus on providing end-to-end solutions have resulted in over 80% repeat customers, reflecting the trust clients have in their ability to deliver tangible results. Some of India’s largest business houses have done multiple projects with ESA, namely Titan, Tata Motors, Mahindra, Murugappa groups Carborundum Universal and Parry’s, Crompton. Large MNC’s Pepsi, Abbott, Pfizer, Saint Gobain, Kokuyo Camlin, Asahi etc.

4.Being a successful business leader, what difficulties and challenges do you face? What keeps you motivated?
